Prayer for marriage – the key to a lasting relationship.

Marriage is an intimate and sacred union between two people. It is a beautiful expression of love where they can share their lives and enjoy companionship. It is a bond meant to last a lifetime. Marriage is also considered one of the most exciting moments of adulthood and a wonderful occasion to share with family and friends. Like in Disney stories, we may imagine a royal wedding where we live happily ever after with our prince charming.

However, there are challenges associated with marriage. Despite the blooms and butterflies, there are also thorns and stings.

Couples that have been together for years often clash over their distinct characteristics, egos, and wants. Sometimes, they are unable to resolve their differences. There will be nights when the couple does not share the same bed. There will be moments of silence and tears.

That is why it’s important to be aware of these challenges and enter a marriage with an open mind- ready to face and overcome obstacles that may come. After all, a successful marriage depends on mutual respect, understanding, and support. Communication is a vital element in establishing a lifelong bond.

Let us also not forget God. Remember that He is the center of your relationship. Pray together and ask God for guidance. God will listen to you and bring harmony and understanding to your home.
