On the last episode, we confirmed through the Bible and our life experiences that there is something beyond our physical existence called the spirit. Today, we discuss how we can take care of that spirit and even grow into mature believers. In the different eras of the Bible, God gave His revealed word and looked for believers who would listen and act accordingly. Are we that kind of believers today?

Conversations inspired by the Shincheonji Bible classes start…now! The lessons are uh-maaazing (mind blown, jaw floor) and entirely Bible-based and we will be using them as a springboard to discuss many curious questions we have about the faith. First stop – spirit. So basic, so essential! We say we “”seek”” but really, it is our spirits coming alive and desiring to connect with the Creator, the Father of our spirits. Which reminds us – belated happy Father’s Day to all dads! 💙

In part 2 of this conversation, we share our thoughts on Shincheonji’s evangelism methods in the past, our experience of the Bible class and address the misconception that Shincheonji members have to leave their families to join the church. Oof. This was a bit of a toughie but we’re glad we talked about it! 🥲

We don’t blame you for being confused by the things you find through a quick search online so here’s our attempt at shedding some light on what seem to be the most common misconceptions about our church. Does Chairman Lee proclaim to be God? To be immortal? And are Shincheonji teachings false? Most importantly, what is our new nickname for our listeners? Ok, jokes aside, it does sadden us that not just Shincheonji but so many Christian denominations are persecuted and attacked and the thing is, we do it to each other. The irony! Let’s do better ❤️

Chairman, teacher, the promised pastor – he’s called by many names but they all refer to the person who is chosen at the time of Revelation’s fulfillment to receive the understanding of the prophecies for the second coming (Rv 22:8) and testify them to the churches (Rv 22:16). Sam and Tina have had the kilig of meeting him but is he the reason why they are in this church? Yeah. Rhetorical question.
